WHO IS Amaya?

Amaya White(she/her) is a New York City/New Jersey based actress. Raised in Old Bridge, New Jersey, she got her start singing in talent shows and performing at her local community theater.

 

Her journey began in a production of The Wiz at her elementary school and since then she had been hooked. Amaya has performed in as many talent shows as possible, singing the national anthem at every school event, and performing in as many shows as she could.

 

She studied for eight years at the Paper Mill Playhouse Summer Conservatory under the direction of Mark Hoebee and Patrick Parker. She has just recently graduated from Montclair State University with her BFA in Musical Theater.
